A person is said to experience panic disorder if he or she has these criteria:
Panic attack is happening repeatedly unexpectedlyTakes at least a month in the anguish of the possibility of obtaining the panic attack againFeeling worried about the bad effects that may occur due to the panic crisis leads to assign or change the behavior.The attack and the disorder is not caused by other mental illnesses, physical disease or the effects of substances or drugs.Occurs when the individual is in some places such as supermarkets, a crowded place or in an elevator with the hypothesis that he or she can get panic attack when the some place and assumes that it is difficult to get help and to save his / himself if he or she gets the attack. Ultimately the individual will be shun the place. This condition is also known as agoraphobia with panic attack.
There are also individuals attacking panic without reason. Spontaneously, panic attack is happening as if the person is shocked, recall past traumatic memories and so on. This condition is also known as spontaneous panic. There are people who receive this attack of panic during their sleep.
